CERTIFICATION IN PLASTICS WELDING TECHNIQUES

Fully accredited and independent certification in all types of welding techniques in full compliance with BS EN 13067.

The requirements of Certification with respect to compliance to EN 13067:2003(E) stipulate the following conditions for Examination:

• The test shall be supervised and marked by a plastics welding Examiner (PWE). This includes both written and practical lab tests.

• The Examiner shall select test pieces for the specified tests at a qualified test house.

• The Examiner shall not examine any candidate trained by himself and the PWE shall reach his professional decisions independently.

• The PWE shall check the identity of the candidate, the test house qualifications and where applicable, the training centre or training instructor.

APPLICABLE STANDARDS

The welding of tanks complies with BS EN 12573-1, -2, -3 and -4

All training is in line with BS EN 13067

All weld tests comply with BS EN 12814-1, -2, -4, -7 and -8 and visual examination to BS EN 13100-1
